'The Hermitage' is a three bedroom house. There is one double, one king single and one single. All rooms have their own ensuite. Each bedroom has a heater, fan and electric blanket. Sheets and towels are provided. There is a full size, well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer (making self catering easier). The lounge has a reverse cycle air-conditioner and a wood burning heater. The house has verandas on three sides, offering a choice of places to sit.

Bass Hill Hermitage is a smoke-free environment.

We live in a seperate house on the property.

'Bass Hill Hermitage' is located on 16 acres. It is on a quiet

no-thru road, providing a safe place to walk, with views across farm land and Western Port Bay. The Hermitage looks out onto bushland, paddocks and Bass Hill. There is lots of birdlife and we regularly see kangaroos grazing in nearby paddocks. The night sky is filled with stars and owls can be heard calling to each other. Accommodation

The Chapel

The chapel is located opposite 'The Hermitage'. It is a rendered straw-bale building. It has a lovely peaceful atmosphere, conducive to prayer and meditation. Retreatants are welcome to use the chapel at any time, either for personal prayer or to join with us for a short prayer time. (usually a reading/psalm, music/song)

The chapel may also used for prayer and reflection days for non-residential small groups during the year.
